Knowing that there can be no compromise regarding the quality and performance of product and services provided, RSI is dedicated to the establishment and maintenance of an effective and economical quality and business system. Historically, this has been accomplished through the application and maintenance of a compliant, US Government accepted, MIL-Q-9858A Quality Program, and MIL-I-45208A Inspection System. The quality assurance system along with other administrative and technical programs establishes and provides the foundation for the RSI management approach.

The structure, guidance and imposed requirements of an ISO 9001:2008 based quality management system places emphasis on and necessitates demonstrated evidence of;

  •       Focus and commitment to customers. Including suitable arrangements for responsive communications and feedback. Particularly with regard to the perception of meeting requirements and incentives.

  •       Strategic planning and establishment of quality and business objectives to meet customer, regulatory and business requirements. And, the communication and flow down of objectives and directives to relevant levels within the organization.

  •       Identification, planning and establishment of processes to realize and meet established quality and business objectives. To include, determining the criteria and methods for effective operation and control of these processes.

  •       Taking appropriate correction and corrective actions when product conformity and planned results are not achieved.

  •      Ensuring that adequate resources needed for the processes are provided. Particularly requirements to provide and maintain the necessary competence, expertise and training of personnel.

  •      Methods for monitoring and measuring of processes and products. Including the collection and analysis of appropriate data to demonstrate the conformance of product requirements and suitability and effectiveness of the quality management system.

  •      Using the results from quality-business objectives, analysis of data, internal audits, management reviews and corrective and preventive actions to identify initiatives to continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system, customer satisfaction and business performance.
